In the Greater Zakouma Ecosystem, tourism has seen a resurgence, and the entity has become the largest employer in the region. As a new National Park, Siniaka Minia has potential to add further to this. In 2023 construction began on the new HQ, and 42 people from the surrounding communities are permanently employed at the park.
