African Parks, (a conservation NGO that manages protected areas on behalf of governments across Africa, and with entities registered in South Africa, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States, info@africanparks.org) values the privacy of individuals who visit our website at: www.africanparks.org. This statement sets forth the important information which you need to know about how we collect and use your personal data when you visit our site.

Collection of Information

The type and amount of information we receive about you depends entirely on how you use our site. For instance, you may read and download information provided on the site without providing any personal information at all.

Share and transfer of personal information

The processed personal information is transmitted to Stripe, Mailchimp, Crazy Egg and Google.

African Park transfers personal information for the purposes of collecting donations, communicating with supporters, and making improvements to the website to the following categories of recipients located outside the European Economic Area: All services that we use to collect data are based in the United States.Those transfers are carried out in accordance with Standard Contractual Clauses.

African Parks takes reasonable precautions to keep all information obtained from our online visitors secure against unauthorized access.

Retention of your personal information

African Parks shall retain your personal information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes identified under this privacy policy.

African Parks will keep your personal information for three (3) years after your last correspondence with us.

On the expiry of the applicable data retention period, African Parks undertakes to erase or irrevocably anonymize the relevant personal information.

Cookies
