Park Revenue Generation

With Zambia’s established tourism industry, Kafue has tremendous potential to emerge as a leading travel destination within the country and in Africa, helping create much-needed opportunities and employment for surrounding communities.  In 2024, Kafue had the highest visitor numbers in its history with 23,828 guests, of which 39% were Zambian. The park generated revenues of US$1,8 million, an 85% year-on-year increase since 2022 and the highest amount ever generated.
