Virgile Houngbedi

Virgile HOUNGBEDJI is from Benin and a holder of a Master's degree in Financial Management. He is a full member of Beninese Institute of Internal Auditor. He served 5 years in France, Senegal and Benin in Nonprofit Organisations in several areas: audit, Internal control, accountant and datas analysis to name them only. He joined African Parks in 2020 as an accountant in W National Park and was promoted to Chief Accountant in October 2020.

In 2023, he was promoted to Deputy Financial Manager before being called in August 2024 to be part of Pendjari National Park as acting Financial Manager.  

With strong skills in financial services, accounting management with strict professional standards, strong ethics and compliance in the conservation area he continues in his role of Pendjari acting Financial Manager.
