Comlan Firmin Donadje

Comlan Firmin Donadje is the Park Manager of Pendjari National Park in Benin, a position he assumed in September 2025. He brings more than 20 years of experience across the military, conservation, and international cooperation sectors, combining operational leadership with a strong commitment to conservation impact.

Comlan has held senior positions within the Ministry of Defense of Benin and has contributed to United Nations, African Union, and ECOWAS peacekeeping missions, as well as USAFRICOM programmes. His career reflects a deep engagement with security, stability, and cross-border cooperation in complex environments.

Comlan holds advanced certifications in cybersecurity. Before becoming Park Manager, he served as Regional Technology Manager for African Parks in Benin, where he led the development and management of ICT and conservation technology systems across Pendjari and W National Parks, strengthening operational effectiveness and ranger support.

As Park Manager, Comlan is focused on leveraging technology, collaboration, and inclusive leadership to enhance park operations, conservation outcomes, and community engagement, supporting Pendjari National Park’s role as a flagship protected area in West Africa.
