René Hooft Graafland

René Hooft Graafland has a Master's degree in economics and a postgraduate degree as chartered accountant from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He has had a long career at Heineken and has held various marketing, financial and general management positions in Europe, Asia and Africa. From 2002 to 2015 he was a member of the board of directors and CFO of the Heineken Group. After his retirement from Heineken, he held various supervisory positions at large international companies. He has been involved with African Parks since 2010 and was chairman of the African Parks Foundation in the Netherlands until 2023.
