Precious Mhaka is the Chief Finance Officer for Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (Zimparks). He is a holder of a Master of Commerce in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance Degree. He is a Certified Internal Control Specialist, a Certified Forensic Accountant, a Full Member of IPMZ and an Associated Director with the Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe. Precious started his career from humble beginnings as a School Bursar in 2000. He joined Zimparks as an Accountant and rose to the post of Regional Finance, Administration and Human Resources Manager before his current position. He spearheaded the formation of Parksmed Health Fund and became its first Principal Officer in 2017. He has vast experience in Finance, Administration, Human Resources, Strategic Management and Governance issues. He sits in several Boards and he is the current Board Chairman for Umfurudzi Park (Pvt) Limited, Full Council and Executive Member for the National Employment Council for Tourism, Board Member and Chairperson for Finance and Business Development Committee for Parksmed Health Fund. Previously, he was a Trustee for Gonanrezhou Conservation Trust.
