Patrick Chioko

Patrick Chioko is a passionate conservationist who joined African Parks in May 2025 in Liwonde National Parks as Head of Law enforcement for Liwonde and Mangochi Landscapes. Before joining African Parks, he worked with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife for over 23 years serving in different positions in the four protected areas of Malawi as Head of Law enforcement as well as an instructor. He has trained majority of law e enforcement officers in the Department of National Parks and later was promoted to the position of a Park Manager for Nyika National Park. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management and Diploma in Wildlife Conservation obtained at University of Livingstonia and Botswana Wildlife Training Institute respectively
