Mr. Gerard Sah graduated from the Marien Ngouabi University in Rural Development Engineering, and worked at the Wildlife and Protected Areas Congolese Agency (ACFAP in French) since 1991.

He first joined Odzala-Kokoua National Park (OKNP) as the Head of the Northern and Easter Sectors from 2006 to 2012. He left to work in various protected areas in Congo with WCS for eight years -including Mont Fouari Wildlife Reserve, Ntokou-Pikounda National Park and Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park. He returned to OKNP in 2023 as the Deputy Director appointed by the Government.
