Jacques graduated in Forestry Technique from the Marien Ngouabi University in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. In 2002, he joined WCS as a research assistant, gaining experience in the habituation of Western Lowland Gorillas in the centre of Mondika. In 2007, he moved to Odzala-Kokoua National Park as a research assistant on the initiation of Elephants to human presence.

He was appointed Head of Wildlife and Protected Areas in the Pool Department from 2016 to 2020, and Conservator in mid-2020.

He is the Deputy Director of the Lossi Sanctuary at the Odzala-Kokoua-Lossi Foundation since 2021.
