Dan completed his Master’s degree at Rhodes University in South Africa, addressing the effects of carnivore re-introductions within enclosed reserves. Dan then spent 11 years with South African National Parks, starting out as a student in Mountain Zebra National Park and working his way up to a Senior Section Ranger in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Dan joined African Parks at Iona National Park in May 2023 as the Conservation Manager.
