Currently, there is very little tourism within Gambella National Park. Accessibility into the park is limited, especially in the wet season. Tourism roads and infrastructure within the park are yet to be developed, with most tourist operators making use of fly-camps and helicopters to fly in from neighbouring areas. A Commercial Development Plan will be drafted to develop the tourism potential within Gambella so that the park can begin generating its own revenue as well as develop employment opportunities and economic initiatives for local communities.
