Set on a remote island in the swamps, this intimate four-tented camp offers insight into not only the home of the shoebill, and a vast array of bird life, but also the fishing camps home to fishermen and their families for nine months of the year. Looking out over a lagoon in the heart of the Lukulu delta, the camp offers stunning vistas of life in the swamp. Take a mokoro ride through the waterways and channels, meet the fishermen whose livelihoods depend on the wetland, and admire vast herds of Lechwe as they move through the landscape.
