With about two decades long track record of successful wildlife conservation since 2005, Timothy Maseko Chana has spent most of his career life at senior management level in Malawi’s Nyika, Liwonde and Kasungu National Parks. Key among the achievements has been well organized and coordinated conservation – based stakeholder engagement and livelihood programmes which has resulted in good collaboration and reduced levels of unsustainable practices in complex transboundary landscapes including playing the role of Malawi TFCA focal point under DNPW for 6 years. Timothy Chana assumed the position of Community Extension Manager for African Parks Nkhotakota in July 2022.
