John Njunga joined African Parks in November 2019 as Grants Manager of the British FCDO funded climate resilience project worth GBP1 million, overseeing project operations in Majete, Nkhotakota and Liwonde National Park. Following the successful conclusion of the grant in 2021, John transitioned into the role of Funding and Reporting Manager (FRM) bringing his expertise into the FRM role in Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve. Before joining AP, John worked mostly in the NGO sector including 7 years at the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID).
