Sean Smith

Sean’s commitment to conservation was formed in the African wilderness, having grown up visiting wild places in Botswana and spending extensive time at his family's lodge in Zambia's Kafue National Park. After acquiring a Bachelor of Technology in Game Ranch Management from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2014, he immediately launched his career by running a conservation department in a nature reserve in Botswana. For more than a decade, Sean has gained invaluable experience, blending conservation, tourism, and demanding operational management. His experience spans three countries: Botswana, Somaliland, and Zambia, where he has built and managed tourism camps, run game ranches, and overseen field operations in remote environments, giving him the unique expertise required to sustain effective conservation in logistically challenging areas.
