With a master’s degree in Private Law and a bachelor's degree in political science, Nono-Plaisti gradually shifted his focus toward governance and the protection of human rights within conservation initiatives. He joined the Chinko Conservation Area in May 2022 as a Human Rights Analyst and Focal Point, where he contributed to integrate social and legal perspectives into program activities.
His dedication and expertise earned him a promotion to Safeguards Officer in March 2024, followed by another advancement to Safeguards Manager in April 2025. In this role, he oversees the implementation of social and environmental safeguards policies, while fostering meaningful dialogue with local communities and institutional partners.
