Inge van den Meiracker

As GIS Manager at African Parks South Sudan, Inge is coordinating all geographic data collection and management efforts to protect the largest land mammal migration on earth. Inge’s conservation interest was aroused during her marine conservation internship in Greece, mapping seagrass, as part of her master’s study. After obtaining her GIS Master’s degree she worked for almost 5 years at Esri Netherlands as ArcGIS Engineer, building technological solution for location intelligence. However, conservation remained on her mind and in 2025 she took the step to move to South Sudan. She is now putting her GIS skills into practice by committing herself to one of the world's most ambitious conservation projects!
