After studying Media and Communication Heleen Dura - van Oord discovered her interest in the digital industry in 1996. After having worked at a leading Dutch media agency for a few years, she became the co-founder of a global digital marketing company in 2001. DQ&A Media group was sold after 16 years. Today, Heleen is a partner at Peak Capital and the Future Food Fund. She is a Member of the Supervisory Board of the theme nature park Efteling B.V. and FD Media group. She also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at Social Impact Ventures NL. She is passionate about ‘Jong Ondernemen’, a foundation teaching entrepreneurial skills to kids aged 9-22.  She was appointed Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the year 2013. Nature has become more and more important in Heleen’s life. This is why she is excited to serve on the Dutch African Parks Board.
