Bonaventure graduated from Agriculture High School in 2002. He was involved in several reforestation and forest law enforcement activities in the Republic of Benin. In 2020 He joined the African Parks team, at the Pendjari national Park where he held the positions of trainer, and Assistant to the anti-poaching unit, before being promoted as Law enforcement Manager in June 2022.
