Axel Baouya

Axel began his career in the humanitarian sector, gaining over five years of experience with renowned organizations. These roles allowed him to build strong expertise in human resources management within challenging and multicultural environments. In March 2020, Axel joined African Parks Network as the Human Resources Manager for the Chinko Conservation Area in the Central African Republic. After more than four years of significant contributions to the growth of Chinko’s HR team, he continued his commitment to conservation by joining Odzala-Kokoua National Park and the Lossi Gorilla Sanctuary in the Republic of Congo in August 2024, where he currently serves as Human Resources Manager.
