Andrea never knew that her passion for animals and biodiversity conservation would lead her to a life of daily fulfilment. She began her working career in Hluhluwe iMfolozi Game Reserve, South Africa. Here she gained a variety of experience some of which include; Black Rhino Monitoring, Research Assistant and Manager, Buffalo bovine tuberculous free, breeding program. In 2007 Andrea and her husband Craig joined African Parks in Liuwa Plain National Park, Zambia. Here she assisted with Tourism and other park operations. She later in 2009 returned to the family small holding so that their two small children could attended formal school. In 2012 an opportunity arose with African Parks as Special Projects Manager. Her first posting was in Bangweulu Wetlands, later in 2015 Liwonde National Park, Malawi and finally 2021 she moved back to Zambia, Kafue National Park where she is currently based. Over the many years spent working in African Parks Projects she has gained invaluable knowledge and experience in many fields of conservation, management, technology and personal growth.
