Ahmat Brahim Siam worked for the Chad Ministry of the Environment, first as Deputy Director, then as Director of Wildlife and Protected Areas for 7 years. After this experience, he coordinated the European Union-funded Chad Protected Areas and Fragile Ecosystems Program (APEF) for 5 years. In October 2022, Siam joined African Parks as Country Representative for Chad.
