US family visits Majete for lion release
1 minute read
Diana Wege-Sherogan, husband Tim and their children, Sara and Peter were present to witness the release of the lions into the Majete Wildlife Reserve on Saturday 25th August. Both Sara and Peter were privileged to take part, together with the media, in moving the anesthetised lions into the release area before they were set free into the reserve. For the family, this was a once in a lifetime experience to be part of this memorable occasion.
Their visit was hosted by Majete Wildlife Reserve Park Manager, Patricio Ndadzela and African Parks’ Conservation Director, Dr Anthony Hall-Martin.
