The rescued Shoebill chick is no longer a little bird anymore and is doing very well growing by the day. We have moved it into an outside reed enclosure for its protection as well as to continue to minimize the contact it has with its cares. We estimate that it is approximately one month old now. It is trying to stand and the first real feathers are replacing the fluffy down it arrived with.
