African Parks regrets to announce that a guest staying at Mkulumadzi Lodge in Majete was injured yesterday 13th November 2016 when an elephant cow charged and overturned the game drive vehicle he and four other guests were travelling on.
Following the incident, the guest was stabilised and transferred to the best available medical care and was evacuated to Johannesburg last night. African Parks management is investigating the incident and wishes the guest a speedy recovery.
