African Parks Voted Best Wildlife Conservation Organisation in Africa

African Parks has been voted the Best Wildlife Conservation Organisation in the annual Safari Awards, presented in London earlier this week at the start of the World Travel Market.

Sponsored by the independent, UK-based Good Safari Guide, the annual Safari Awards recognise 20 category winners ranging from conservation organisations and best safari lodges and camps to outstanding guides and operators.

More than 4 000 tour operators, travel agents and travel journalists voted to create a short-list of 200 entries that were sent to a judging panel comprising 15 UK, USA, German, Australian, Tanzanian and South African safari specialists for consideration. They subsequently selected the top five nominees per category, before deciding on the winner for each.
