In November, David Hancock was relaxing at the camp site in Lango Baie when suddenly he was distracted by a group of between 12 to 14 bongo moving through the northern corner of the baie.

Amongst this group were two magnificent bongo bulls. The group then moved quickly back into the forest with a few remaining to graze with the forest buffalo. Bongos are very rarely seen in the baie and this caught David off foot with only his small camera on hand, at full zoom – but what a rare sighting!
