Panashe SinoiaMeet Panashe Sinoia, a ranger at Matusadona National Park in Zimbabwe. The grandson of a Matusadona ranger, Panashe grew up in the staff village at the park’s headquarters. Attending Tashinga Primary School, Panashe spent his childhood watching and learning from the nature around him. “I knew from a young age, this was what I wanted to do – I wanted to work with wildlife,” Panashe recalls. -
Isaac MliloMeet Isaac Mlilo, the Workshop Manager at Majete Wildlife Reserve. Isaac began his career as a motor vehicle mechanic in Zimbabwe. His conservation journey, however, began when he was hired at Majete Wildlife Reserve in Malawi where he drove and maintained the vehicles that helped erect the park’s first sanctuary fence—a pivotal moment in Majete’s history. At the time, the terrain was challenging, with no infrastructure in place, and Isaac was tasked in transporting materials around the entire reserve perimeter, ensuring the vehicles were well-maintained and operational throughout the project. -
