Garamba: A story of hope and resilience (English)

Garamba National Park, one of Africa’s oldest national parks, is often recognized as ground zero in the continent’s poaching wars. Today, the DRC’s Institut Congolais pour la Conservation de la Nature (ICCN) and African Parks commemorate the 80th year anniversary of this critically important World Heritage Site, and hail a turning point as poaching and illegal activities see a marked decline.
