African Parks Foundation of America

African Parks Foundation of America (APFA) is an established 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation with offices in New York City. APFA develops and oversees all fundraising from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies to support African Parks’ work to save wildlife and wild places across Africa. All individual gifts made in the USA are 100% tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Meet our Team

Liam T. Dall, Executive Director 

Liam T. Dall is responsible for all US based operations and activities at the African Parks Foundation of America (APFA). Liam has over 20 years’ experience in raising critical funds at industry-leading global, humanitarian, and environmental institutions. His career has centered on the advancement of international NGOs focused on improving our world – from investing in women leaders to addressing the human impact of the climate crisis through nature-based solutions and responding to natural disasters and conflict.  He has also raised funds for the advancement of innovative programs throughout sub-Saharan Africa for organizations including Conservation International, Vital Voices Global Partnership, Women for Women International and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Liam received his BA and MA from Georgetown University and lives in Washington, DC.  Liam joined APFA in 2023. 

Joanna Da Veiga, Director of Finance & Administration 
Joanna oversees all compliance, administrative and financial management activities at the Foundation. Joanna has spent the past 13 years in the nonprofit industry overseeing all areas of finance and administration, including finance and accounting operations, grant administration, compliance, human resources, and Information Technology.  Before joining APFA, Joanna served as the AVP, Corporate Finance & Operations at The BELL Foundation dba BellXcel, a nonprofit organization based in Boston, MA.
