Serving in the public service is one of the noblest ways to serve one's country and for over 14 years my ambition has been, to be an achieved and distinguished civil servant. I joined the Department of National Parks and Wildlife in 2020 as the Assistant Director- Legal Affairs. Where I provide legal advice to facilite decision making; prepare and vet legal documents to ensure adherence; represent the Ministry on civil matters to protect the interests of the government; and undertake to draft Statutory Instruments to support the Zambia Wildlife Act No. 14 of 2015.  Prior to DNPW, I was the Access to Justice Analyst-Assistant Director, at Ministry of Justice and the Senior Registrar of Lands and Deeds, at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources. During my tenure at Ministry of Justice, I timely facilitated communication, cooperation and coordination among the Justice Institutions and other stakeholders; facilitated and coordinated the development of legislative process and policy framework affecting the administration of justice; and attended court for Attorney General's Chambers. While at Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, I was charged with overseeing the lodgement and application of various legal documents that affected the registration of land rights and interests; I issued Certificate of Title Deeds and was the custodian of the Land Register.  I am a graduate of the University of Zambia, where I obtained a Masters Degree in Commercial Law, a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration. I currently live in Lusaka.
