Tineke joined African Parks in September 2015. In April 2020, she became the Director for Europe and is responsible for growing African Parks’ funding base across the continent.

Tineke started her career in consulting on intercultural management with Trompenaars Hamden-Turner. After 15 years in the consulting arena, she decided to pursue a less commercial career and worked in various philanthropy-related jobs.  Prior to African Parks, Tineke worked for WWF-the Netherlands as a major gift fundraiser. She graduated from Leiden University and is based in Amsterdam.
