Sonja Ringdal

Sonja is the Director of African Parks Foundation Switzerland. With a wealth of experience in fundraising, major donor engagement, and non-profit management, she has successfully led initiatives to raise funds and awareness for global causes. As a founding member of Right To Play Switzerland, an international humanitarian non-profit, Sonja was instrumental in establishing the Zurich office, ensuring its long-term success. 

Sonja’s passion for Africa runs deep. From a young age, she was captivated by wildlife documentaries, literature, and the pioneering efforts of conservation leaders like Sir David Attenborough and Jane Goodall. The first time she set foot on the African continent, she was profoundly moved by its unspoiled landscapes and remarkable wildlife, forever losing her heart to the continent.
