Bob was born and currently lives in Singapore with his family. 

Bob formed a joint venture with McDonald's Corporation to establish the McDonald's franchise in Singapore. He served as Managing Director from 1979 to 2002. Bob formerly served as Executive Chairman of Wildlife Reserves Singapore, Chairman of Singapore Environment Council, and was an independent Director of Citibank Singapore.

Bob first became aware of the work of African Parks following a visit to Zakouma National Park. A passionate proponent for the environment, he is now focused on promoting African Parks within Asia to help protect these spaces for future generations.
