Robert Bayigamba serves as board member of Akagera Management Company since 2010. He is the Owner of Manumetal Ltd. one a leading local furniture manufacturing company that started in 1967 and CEO and partner for Africa Region of Center for Global Sports which facilitates, develops, and implements large-scale sports strategies designed for economic growth and social development. Robert Bayigamba has held many executive positions in both the public and private sectors. He served as Minister of Youth Sport, and Culture and as the President of the Private Sector Federation of Rwanda. He serves as member of  Board of Trustees of Agaciro Fund and chairman of the board of Sanlam life insurance. He served on the board of several government entities including Rwandair , the Social Security Board, The Energy ,Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA), University of Rwanda and The Africa Trade Insurance Agency(ATI). Robert has an intense sport career and passion: Member of the National Volley ball team as Captain,  President of the Rwanda National Volleyball Federation and President of the National Olympic Committee of Rwanda. Robert holds an EMBA in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy with Maastricht School of Management in Holland.
