Katherine Alvarez

Katherine studied Hospitality Management and  gained international experience, working in Ecuador, Sao Tome and Principe, United States, Guatemala and Gabon. Throughout her career, she has advanced through various departments in the tourism industry, with extensive experience in hospitality, events and sales. Katherine’s role in Gabon as Sales Manager for a nature-based destination management company (DMC) paved the way for a career change into conservation. With a wealth of knowledge and experience she is now committing her expertise to African Parks in Boma National Park.
