As the Funding and Reporting Manager (FRM), Joseph Munyarukaza is responsible for overseeing donor-related activities, including proposal development, donor report preparation, and project monitoring. With over 10 years of experience in conservation, project management, and fundraising, Joseph brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
He has been deeply involved with Nyungwe National Park since 2009, where he managed the EU-funded Payment for Ecosystem Services project and led community-driven initiatives as CSR Manager in and around the park. In 2023, Joseph transitioned to African Parks as the Funding and Reporting Manager for Nyungwe. In this capacity, he ensures the financial stability of the project by implementing effective fundraising and reporting strategies that support long-term conservation objectives.
Joseph is committed to optimizing resource management to drive impactful conservation and community development initiatives. His passion for supporting sustainable conservation efforts is central to his role, as he works tirelessly to ensure the success and sustainability of conservation programs in Nyungwe.
