Ilze Phillipson

Ilze has joined the Liuwa team in 2024 and has been in the Conservation / Eco-tourism industry since 2003, starting off as a conservation student in Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa. Forever mesmerized by spending countless hours so close to elephants, her love for wildlife and healthy ecosystems kept on growing. Later on, she managed Eco-tourism lodges in protected areas, and experienced first-hand the importance of all stakeholders and aspects to successful nature conservation efforts. She is reminded daily of the beautiful privilege to contribute to conserving Africa’s wilderness areas.
