Ahamadai Barkai Erdimi

Born in the Ennedi region, Ahamadai Barkai Erdimi has dedicated over thirteen years to promoting tourism and crafts in Chad. He served as a member of the Scientific Committee for the classification of the Ennedi Massif as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and held key roles including Coordinator of the Chadian Tourism Office (OTT) in Ennedi and Technical Director at the National Office for the Promotion of Tourism, Crafts and Arts (ONPTA). In July 2025, he joined African Parks as Head of the Tourism Department at the Ennedi Natural and Cultural Reserve.
