Jean Didier Akpona is a professional from Benin with over 12 years’ cumulative experience in conservation with NGOs, Government and private companies. He holds a PhD degree in Life Sciences, two Masters’ degrees in forestry and natural resources management and a Master in Business Administration with a focus in Wildlife Conservation. He combines that passion for conservation business and scientific research with professional experience including project management, engagement with partners, representation and mentoring. He joined AP in 2019 in Pendjari National Park in Benin and then continued in May 2022 to the Ennedi Natural and Cultural reserve still as Funding and Reporting Manager. In March 2023 he became the Ennedi Field Operations Manager.
