Born on 1989 in Korbo in the Guéra, Dr. Djimet Guemona obtained his master's degree in African archaeology in 2013 at the University of Abomey Calavi in Benin. He obtains a scholarship from the French government where he does the Master in 2016 in Arts and cultures of Prehistory and Protohistory: Europe, Africa at the University of Toulouse 2 Jean Jaurès. He continues his doctoral thesis that he obtained in 2020 at the University of Toulouse 2 Jean Jaurès. Since April 2021, Dr. Djimet Guemona is in charge of the archaeology department of the Ennedi Natural and Cultural Reserve with African Parks Networks.
