Charlie is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager for the Straus Group at Neuberger, having joined the firm in 2009. Before this role, he was a Research Associate in Neuberger's Global Equity Research Department, where he covered the energy, technology/media, and materials sectors. Prior to this, he worked as an associate in the Portfolio Advisor Group at Lehman Brothers. Charlie attended The Dalton School and earned a BA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
He is a passionate conservationist and animal lover. Charlie and his family actively support numerous hospitals, medical centers, museums, and educational and cultural institutions, primarily in the New York and Connecticut areas. Charlie resides in Greenwich, Connecticut, with his wife, 4 children, and dog Akira. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys tennis, snowboarding, sailing, and the great outdoors.
