Ruth joined the Garamba team at the beginning of 2023. She studied tourism in her native Switzerland and has since used every opportunity to discover often less well-trodden paths on various continents. She has experience in the tourism industry ,working in the Philippines and in various roles for an established tour operator in Switzerland. In 2015 she made her dream of living in the African wilderness reality. She managed a bush camp and luxury safari camps in two of Zamba’s national parks. Covid made her return to Switzerland, where she got the chance to work for a software company. She also began and has since completed a Master of Science in Business Administration with a major in sustainability and circular economy. She loves being in the wilderness away from the hustle and bustle of cities and working as a Commercial Manager for African Parks was a welcome opportunity for her.
