Aurélien Mehoungal is the current president of the Local Development Fund Management Committee in Odzala-Kokoua. Originary from the Sangha department, he obtained his entrance exam to the national school of forestry agents at Makoua´s high school and went to Ivory Coast to specialize in Botany. He was the Chief Prospector at the Arab Lybian Congolese Association (SOCALIB) and carried out inventories in the UFA Ivindo.
