With a background in wildlife monitoring, in particular large carnivores, Rosie joined the Majete team in 2021 with the mandate for overseeing the Biodiversity Conservation portfolio. In 2022, this role was expanded to include responsibility for Majete’s Funding and Reporting activities. Originally from the UK, Rosie completed her post graduate studies in Environmental Science and Science Communications. She is also a FGASA qualified field guide and has been working on a range of wildlife conservation and monitoring projects across Africa from Sierra Leone to Botswana, since relocating to the continent in 2010.
