Matias graduated from the University of Malawi, Bunda College Campus with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resources Management. He has spent much of his career as a Natural Resources Manager with special expertise in Community Extension and Environmental Education in the Malawi Department of National Parks and Wildlife. For over twenty years, he has been involved in building a “Constituency for Conservation” around National Parks in Malawi. He joined African Parks in January, 2022
