Kelsey has a background in conservation with undergraduate degrees in Nature Conservation from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Nelson Mandela University in South Africa, as well as a master’s degree in Conservation and International Wildlife Trade from the University of Kent in the UK. Kelsey started with African Parks in 2019 in the Marketing and Communications Department in Johannesburg before moving to Garamba National Park in the DRC where she was Special Projects Manager until early 2023 when she made the move to the South Sudan team and is now filling the role of Conservation Manager.
