Karen Molteno

Special Projects Manager

Park Management

While completing two master’s degrees specialized in environmental and African laws at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne university, Karen Molteno started to work in European and French institutions on environmental issues. Passionate about animal’s protection, she wanted to put her skills at the service of the field in national parks in Africa. That is why to complete her cursus, Karen spent 6-month as a volunteer in Odzala during which she wrote a memoire on bushmeat trafficking and its commercial exploitation prospects. She was then recruited as a Special Projects Manager and Legal advisor to investigate all legal texts related to wildlife criminality, offer legal solutions to all departments as well as to coordinate their actions and manage private donors and fondations.
