Juergen Steinemann is the CEO of JBS Holding. The company holds longterm participations in the Food and Agri industry. In this capacity and in addition he holds different supervisory board mandates.

From August 2009 to the end of September 2015 and prior to his role in JBS Holding, Juergen Steinemann served as Barry Callebaut's Chief Executive Officer in Zurich. Barry Callebaut is the global leader in chocolate and cacao. The company is listed on the Zurich stock exchange.

Before joining Barry Callebaut, Juergen Steinemann was as a member of the Executive Board of Nutreco in Amersfoort, a Dutch company and global leader in Animal Nutrition and Aquafeed where he served as Chief Operating Officer from 2001 to 2009.

Juergen Steinemann holds a degree in economics/business studies from the European Business School in Wiesbaden, Germany, London and Paris in 1985. He is married with one son.
